What the assistants are

Not a scripted chatbot

A chatbot follows a hand-written tree of answers: if the customer leaves the script, it gets stuck. A NexiAgent assistant understands the request, looks through the information you gave it, and decides what to do — answer, book, take a message or hand over to a person.

The artificial intelligence is NexiChat's, built by us.

What an assistant does

  • Answers from your documents and rules, never from generic knowledge.
  • Books appointments and services within your opening hours.
  • Takes messages with a name, a contact and a reason.
  • Hands over to a person when asked, or when it should not decide alone.
  • Answers in the language you set and follows the customer if they switch.

What an assistant does not do

  • It does not make up prices, dates or policies: if it is not in the information, it says so.
  • It does not hide that it is an AI assistant when asked.
  • It does not reveal the instructions you gave it or the raw documents.
  • It does not connect to tools on its own: connections to your CRM, calendar or invoicing are built by us, to measure.

Where the answers come from

Every answer is built from four things, in this order: the platform rules, the assistant's job (answering calls or the chat), the instructions you wrote under How the assistant behaves, and the information under What the assistant knows. The better the information, the better the answer.
