The first assistant
Four steps: subscribe, tell it how to behave, teach it the business, and test. If you chose we install it, our team does steps 2 to 4 with you and emails you when it is live — read on to know what you will find in the panel.
1. Subscribe
At nexiagent.com/pricing choose the assistant and the plan. You pay the activation fee today (and the installation, if you chose it); the plan is charged after the 14-day trial. All prices are without VAT; VAT is added at payment.
What happens next depends on the assistant:
- Chat: ready at once. The panel shows the widget key and the code to paste into your site.
- Phone: it needs a number. We arrange it and tell you when it is answering — usually a few working days. If you already have a number your customers know, you can forward it to the one we give you.
2. Tell it how to behave
In the panel, open the assistant and go to How the assistant behaves:
- Business name — how it introduces itself.
- Answer language — also sets the voice on the phone line.
- Manner — "warm and direct, first names", for example.
- First sentence — what a caller hears on pick-up, or what the chat says when it opens.
- Rules — what to say and what never to say, one per line.
Save, and it applies from the next call or conversation.
3. Teach it the business
Under What the assistant knows, paste opening hours, address, services, prices, terms and the most frequent questions. The assistant answers only from here — what it does not know, it says it does not know and offers to pass on to a person.
Under Opening hours, set when you are open. Outside those hours the assistant books nothing and suggests the nearest time you open.
4. Test before going live
Under Test the assistant, talk to it in writing as a customer would. It uses the same information, hours and rules, but nothing is recorded and nothing counts against the plan. Ask it the hard questions: the ones with no answer, the ones about money, the ones an annoyed customer would ask.
An assistant that makes up an answer once costs more trust than it earns in ten right answers. Testing properly is worth it.
Go live
- Chat: paste the code into your site and approve the domain — see 24/7 chat.
- Phone: say which number transferred calls should go to — see Call answering.
From then on, every call, conversation, booking and message shows up in the panel.
